New Heights

Photo of Two TeensThe UNH Center on Adolescence is partnering with New Heights, an after school/summer program that serves 1,000 youth each year. New Heights operates from a positive youth development perspective. The Adolescence Resource Center will provide a gateway to resources and expertise at the University of New Hampshire that may be used to improve the services and opportunities provided by New Heights. Among the resources the Center will make available to New Heights are technical assistance, program evaluation, specialized education and training, and student interns. New Heights, in turn, will serve as a research site for the Adolescence Resource Center and provide a laboratory setting for faculty associated with the Center to pilot new programs for youth and their families.
