Major Responsibilities: Develop, deliver and evaluate programs that provide youth with the skills, knowledge and support to make positive decisions in their own lives and to become agents of positive change in their communities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Demonstrates the ability to interact effectively with diverse populations of young children through teens.
Experience speaking/ presenting to and facilitating groups. Knowledge of child and adolescent development and current trends in primary prevention. Commitment to the mission of the YWCA and positive youth development. BA in related field and three or more years of relevant experience. Race, Gender & Culture studies and drama/performance backgrounds a plus. Criminal records checks will be performed annually. Valid NH Driver’s license and satisfactory driving record required.

Major Responsibilities: Coordinate gender-specific direct service programs for girls that promote and reinforce healthy lifestyle choices throughout middle childhood and adolescence, and that delay the onset of ATOD use.
Qualifications BA or BS in Health and Human Services, Physical Education or related field. Group facilitation and experience working with school age children a must. Specific knowledge of girls’ bio-psycho-social development and experience working with diverse populations a plus. Demonstrated ability to work well in a team setting. Agreement to obtain Prevention Specialist Certification within first year of employment. Demonstrated success with program management. Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
