Welcome!
The Center’s current research activities continue to focus on the health and well being of girls and young women, youth suicide prevention, stigma reduction, and health issues for youth aged 18 to 24. Over the past year, Center staff has presented the results of these projects nationally at the Society for Adolescent Medicine, the American Association for Suicidality, and the Society for Research on Adolescence conferences. You can find our fact sheets on related topics, as well as a white paper on Positive Youth Development, in the Critical Issues pull down menu above, or the Quick Links to the right. Look for upcoming fact sheets on adolescent brain development this spring. The UNH Center on Adolescence is committed to working collaboratively with others dedicated to supporting adolescents and helping youth make a successful transition to adulthood. Last Update: March 3, 2009
